As chief investment strategist, Kristin focuses on cultivating strategic relationships with national and regional consultants, sharing CCM’s market and investment insights, and serving as an investment product specialist. With 25 years of experience in investment manager research and client consulting, she brings deep expertise in addressing the unique needs of consultants and large institutional investors. Kristin is a member of the firm’s Impact and CRA Committee and Investment, Trading & Valuation Committee.
Biography:
Kristin joined CCM from Pathstone Federal Street, where she served as chief investment officer and director of research, overseeing third party manager research and shaping the firm’s asset allocation strategy. Previously, she led investment research for MassMutual Retirement Services, directing third party manager research and asset allocation for 401(k), defined benefit, and life/annuity product lines. Kristin began her career at Allmerica Financial, holding roles in defined benefit and 401(k) manager selection, client consulting, and risk analysis for the guaranteed investment contract line of business. A passionate truth-seeker, Kristin is particularly interested in the multifaceted challenges of climate change, including its social, economic, policy, and environmental impacts. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family—her husband Matt and their four children, Sydney, Cameron, Emily, and Anna—and serves as a voting member of the investment committee for the United Nations Foundation. This committee has directed over $2 billion globally to address critical issues such as poverty, disease, and societal challenges. Kristin received her B.B.A. from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute.
