About Us

Community Capital Management, LLC (CCM) was founded in 1998 and our flagship impact bond fund, the CCM Community Impact Bond Fund (f/k/a the CRA Qualified Investment Fund), was launched in August 1999. The earliest investors were banks looking to meet community development investing under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

Given the subsequent growth in demand for impact and ESG investments from institutions and individual investors, the firm began managing separate accounts in 2001 and launched an institutional (CRANX) and retail (CRATX) share class of its flagship impact bond fund in 2007. In late 2017, we were appointed advisor to the Quaker equity funds and presently manage the CCM Small/Mid-Cap Impact Value Fund and CCM Core Impact Equity Fund. In 2021, Impact Shares launched a new affordable housing MBS ETF (ticker: OWNS) of which CCM is the sub-adviser. The firm has a 23-year history of client customization and consistent management of its impact and ESG investment strategies. Today, we work through a network of investment consultants and advisors and serve a wide variety of clients including faith-based investors, endowments, foundations, healthcare organizations, insurance companies, non-profits, public funds, and high net worth individuals.
