As a senior systems architect, Wei is responsible for developing, overseeing, and advancing all facets of CCM’s technology. He collaborates with internal partners, including the investment team, senior leadership, and business development, to create high-level software specifications and applications while managing the firm’s portfolio optimization functionality and enhancing algorithms. His job includes capturing and distributing real time market data, tracking portfolios, integrating order, and executing systems. He is responsible for automating the reporting process and developing interactive analytical tools for the investment team. Wei is additionally responsible for being the primary liaison between the firm and outsourced IT consultants. 

Biography:

Wei joined CCM with extensive technology experience in the asset management industry. Most recently, he was a senior financial systems software architect at STP Investment Services where he spent seven years building middle- and back-office solutions. Prior to that, he worked for Brandywine, a subsidy of Legg Mason, designing and building its IT systems to assist with the rapid growth of the firm. Wei received his B.S. in electronics control and instrumentation from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and an M.S. in manufacturing systems engineering from Lehigh University. He is a CFA charterholder.
