As a senior systems architect, Wei leads the development and enhancement of CCM’s technology infrastructure. He works closely with internal teams, including the investment team, senior leadership, and business development, to design advanced software solutions and applications. Wei manages portfolio optimization functionality, refines algorithms, captures and distributes real-time market data, tracks portfolios, and integrates order and execution systems. He oversees the automation of reporting processes and develops interactive analytical tools for the investment team. Additionally, Wei serves as the primary liaison between the firm and its outsourced IT consultants. He is a member of the firm’s Investment, Trading, and Valuation Committee.
Biography:
Wei joined CCM with extensive technology experience in the asset management industry. Most recently, he was a senior financial systems software architect at STP Investment Services where he spent seven years building middle- and back-office solutions. Prior to that, he worked for Brandywine, a subsidy of Legg Mason, designing and building its IT systems to assist with the rapid growth of the firm. Wei received his B.S. in Electronics Control and Instrumentation from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and an M.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lehigh University. He is a CFA charterholder.
