As director of credit research and a portfolio manager, Miriam leads economic and credit research to guide investment and risk management decisions for corporate securities, taxable municipals, and securitized assets. Her responsibilities include analyzing individual credits, assessing portfolio credit risks and liquidity profiles, identifying relative value opportunities, and contributing to the sourcing of impact investment opportunities. A key member of the investment team, Miriam also oversees the management of the firm’s core fixed income products, including its flagship CCM Community Impact Bond Fund and separately managed accounts. She is a member of the firm’s Impact and CRA Committee.

Biography:

Miriam brought extensive credit experience to CCM. Prior to joining, she served as a senior corporate generalist at Fiera Capital, where she managed corporate credit analysis for high-grade taxable and high yield fund strategies. Earlier in her career, she held roles as a special investment officer at the New York State Insurance Fund and as an investment grade research associate at TIAA-CREF. Miriam received her B.A. in Economics from New York University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Fordham University Graduate School of Business.
