As director of credit research and a portfolio manager, Miriam conducts economic and credit research to support investment and risk management decision making for corporate securities, taxable municipals, and securitized assets. She analyzes individual credits, portfolio credit risks, liquidity profiles, and relative value opportunities and helps the investment team source impact investment opportunities. As an integral part of the investment team, Miriam is also responsible for managing the firm’s core fixed income products, including the flagship CCM Community Impact Bond Fund and separately managed accounts. 

Biography:

Miriam joined CCM with extensive experience in credit research. Most recently, she was a senior corporate generalist at Fiera Capital, where she was responsible for researching and analyzing the corporate credit allocation within their high-grade taxable strategies and high yield fund strategies. Prior to that, she worked at New York State Insurance Fund as a special investment officer and TIAA-CREF as an investment grade research associate. Miriam received her B.A. in economics from New York University and an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from Fordham University Graduate School of Business.
