As head trader, Cayce oversees trading across key fixed income sectors, including governments, agencies, mortgages, and other pass-through securities. He collaborates closely with the firm’s portfolio management team to actively manage fixed income investment products for institutional clients, ensuring alignment with client guidelines.
Biography:
Cayce joined CCM from Mesirow Financial, where he served as senior vice president, specializing in trading mortgage-backed securities. During this tenure, he enhanced trading operations implementing an electronic trading platform to improve efficiency and accuracy. He also served as the firm’s Bloomberg Trading Systems Administrator and led a team of traders. Before his career in finance, he was a Gunner’s Mate Third Class in the United States Navy. Cayce received his B.A. in Business Administration from Atlantic International University.
