As a client portfolio manager, Barbara serves as the firm’s East wholesaler with a primary focus on large advisory channels. She builds and nurtures key relationships with financial advisors to drive new business, provide sales and marketing updates, and share technical details on CCM’s investment products and services. Barbara also acts as a liaison between the portfolio management team and clients or prospects, ensuring that the team’s investment strategies are effectively communicated. Additionally, she organizes seminars and client events for financial advisors, offering support with sales and marketing materials, product analysis, and educational initiatives on impact investing.
Biography:
Barbara joined CCM from Jefferies in New York City, where she worked in the Financial Sponsors Group within its investment banking division. She was responsible for analyzing strategic opportunities for private equity clients, including evaluating acquisition and financing scenarios. Barbara transitioned into this group after serving as a business partner in human resources, supporting investment banking senior management at Jefferies. Earlier in her career, she worked as a sales associate on the financing desk at Pierpont Securities. Barbara received her B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business and was a member of Penn’s Division I women’s lacrosse team. She holds FINRA licenses: Series 7, 63 and 79.
