As an impact research analyst, Amina is responsible for conducting impact and ESG research and articulating the positive impact outcomes of securities purchased on behalf of CCM’s clients. Her job includes writing detailed summary reports on the positive environmental and social impacts of the firm’s fixed income holdings, tracking quantitative impact metrics, and creating impact reports for separately managed accounts and mutual fund shareholders. Amina is a member of CCM’s DEI Committee.

Amina joined CCM from Azzad Asset Management, where she worked in the marketing and communications department. She was responsible for writing marketing collateral, website content, reports, educational booklets, and presentations. Amina also helped start a shareholder advocacy program through which she pushed for corporate accountability on ESG issues by writing investor letters, engaging in dialogues, filing shareholder proposals, and voting proxies. This focus allowed her to work closely with colleagues at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) and the Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment (US SIF). Amina received her B.A. in communications from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College.
