As an impact research analyst, Amina conducts impact research, articulating the positive societal outcomes of securities purchased on behalf of CCM’s clients. Her responsibilities include writing detailed reports on the firm’s fixed income holdings, tracking quantitative impact metrics, and preparing impact reports for separately managed accounts and mutual fund shareholders. Amina collaborates closely with the co-chief impact strategists to assess opportunities for partnering with organizations and initiatives that share similar values and goals. She is a member of the firm’s Impact and CRA Committee.

Biography:

Amina joined CCM from Azzad Asset Management, where she worked in the marketing and communications department. In this role, she was responsible for writing marketing materials, website content, reports, educational booklets, and presentations. Amina also helped launch a shareholder advocacy program focused on corporate accountability on ESG issues, engaging in activities such as writing investor letters, participating in dialogues, filing shareholder proposals, and voting proxies. This work allowed her to collaborate closely with colleagues at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) and the Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment (US SIF). Amina received her B.A. in Communications from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College.
