Biography:

Amina joined CCM from Azzad Asset Management, where she worked in the marketing and communications department. She was responsible for writing marketing collateral, website content, reports, educational booklets, and presentations. Amina also helped start a shareholder advocacy program through which she pushed for corporate accountability on ESG issues by writing investor letters, engaging in dialogues, filing shareholder proposals, and voting proxies. This focus allowed her to work closely with colleagues at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) and the Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment (US SIF). Amina received her B.A. in communications from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College.
