As chief executive officer and president, Alyssa provides strategic leadership and oversees all aspects of the firm’s operations, including risk management, compliance, and client service. A recognized authority in impact industry, Alyssa is a frequent speaker on the subject and has been instrumental in developing advanced impact metrics and customized reporting solutions at CCM. She works closely with clients to integrate their impact and investment goals, ensuring alignment and measurable results. She serves on CCM’s Board of Directors and plays a key role across the firm’s governance structure as a member of the firm’s Compliance Committee, Enterprise Risk Management Committee, Impact and CRA Committee, and Management Committee.
Biography:
Alyssa began her career at Northern Trust Bank, advancing to investment officer before joining Morningstar, Inc., as a senior equity analyst specializing in the financial services sector. She joined CCM in 2003 as a portfolio manager, was promoted to chief operating officer in 2009, became president in 2015, and CEO in 2023. Alyssa served two terms on the board of directors of US SIF — The Sustainable Investment Forum, where she held roles as Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee. She is also a past director of Impact Shares, which collaborates with nonprofit partners to create socially conscious ETFs. Dedicated to community service, Alyssa is actively involved with Women United of the United Way of Broward County, which empowers and educates women of all ages, and Junior Achievement’s Circle of Wise Women. Alyssa is also a board member of the Broward Workshop, whose mission is to facilitate positive solutions to Broward County’s critical issues. Alyssa received her B.S.M. in Finance from Tulane University and an M.B.A. from the University of Miami. She is a CFA charterholder and holds FINRA licenses: Series 6, 7, 24, 26 and 63.
