Community Capital Management Celebrates 25th Anniversary of Firm and Flagship Impact Bond Fund

Milestone recognizes CCM’s longevity and experience managing market-rate fixed income impact investments

Ft. Lauderdale, FL, August 30, 2024: Community Capital Management, LLC (CCM) is excited to announce its 25th anniversary of the firm and of its flagship impact bond fund—the Community Impact Bond (CIB) Fund (f/k/a the CRA Qualified Investment Fund).

CCM launched its flagship CIB Fund on August 30, 1999, for financial institutions looking to meet community development investing under the requirements of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) by directing the impact of their investments to specific communities in need around the United States. Since the Fund’s beginnings focused on place-based community investments primarily utilized by financial institutions, it has expanded to include a variety of institutional investors, including faith-based, foundations, healthcare, nonprofits, and high net worth, looking for a diversified, liquid market-rate impact bond fund with positive environmental and social impacts.

In addition to the CIB Fund, CCM also manages separately managed accounts (SMAs) and the CCM Affordable Housing MBS ETF. In SMAs and the institutional and CRA share classes of the CIB Fund, clients meeting minimum requirements can customize and align their investments to support specific geographies, impact themes, or impact initiatives, a benefit accompanied by bespoke impact reporting.

“Over the past 25 years, the firm has collaborated closely with its clients to expand its impact customization and enhance its customized impact reporting while also seeking to provide liquidity, diversification, and historical competitive returns,” said Alyssa Greenspan, president and CEO of CCM. “This approach to aligning clients’ impact goals with meaningful outcomes and transparent impact reporting has been a significant factor in our growth.”

CCM is a registered investment adviser with a mission seeking to deliver risk-adjusted returns through strategies that contribute to positive environmental and social outcomes. With $6 billion in assets under management, the firm’s strategies utilize an innovative approach to fixed income investing by combining the positive environmental and/or social outcomes of impact investing with rigorous financial analysis, an inherent focus on risk management, and transparent research. To date, the firm has invested $16.3 billion in impact initiatives nationwide on behalf of its clients.
